 1st annual identifying and reaching at risk youth community panel discussion highlights. The panel along with the community addressed the issue of at risk youth. Participants gave insight and some direction for understanding their language, recognizing signs of
signs of “at risk” youth, and the influence and impact of the internet and hip hop culture on children at risk.
Highlights: Resources was provided to the community to: 1. Aid them with parenting their children. 2. Provide locations of positive extra curricular activities and talent enrichment programs. 3. Provide Biblically based counseling for the entire family. 4. Provide membership scholarships for the Detroit Parent Network.
